We recommend 9 to 12 months before your wedding. This time frame allows enough time with our designers to have a relaxed enjoyable experience. However some of our designers do offer a rush service for a nominal fee. We also have off-the-peg/rail dresses for brides with a very short time frame.
Our dresses can be ordered in any size from a UK4 to a UK32. We hold samples from size UK8 to UK26. The bridal industry uses equipment in store to help you visualise the dress in your size should you be smaller or bigger than the sample size in store, don't worry, we've got you!
Our wedding dresses start at around £999 and go up to £3499. Our average price is around £1599.
Yes, we have a whole collection of veils, tiaras, hair accessories and jewellery to complete your look.
If this is your first appointment, we advise you to keep an open mind, try different styles and fabrics on. Most brides will find their dress on their first appointment and it's usually an unexpected dress!
No problem, we offer different types of packaging services to take your wedding dress abroad.
Yes we have an "off the peg/rail" where you can purchase and take your wedding dress home the same day.
Yes we are. To avoid disappointment, we do advise booking an appointment. However if we aren't busy with an appointment we will gladly help you. Our appointments are 2 hours long and you are welcome to try on as many dresses as you like!
There is no rule, we have comfortable seating for 4 and will accommodate more if you need those friends and family members to help you say "Yes" (please just let us know and seating will be arranged). Remember to bring your "cheerleaders" the people who want what's best for you!
Yes of course! They are part of the family.

Our appointments are for two hours giving you plenty of time to try different styles and fabrics on. Refreshments are served from our telephone box bar to you and your guests.
Our appointments are free.
We have two options.
Option 1: We ask for a 50% deposit on your dress to place the order and the balance is due when your dress arrives in store.
Option 2: We ask for £200 deposit in store, the remaining deposit balance is to be paid over 3 months, once the deposit has been paid the dress is ordered. The remaining 50% is divided into 4 months so the dress is paid in full when the dress arrives in store. Option 2 is only available if your wedding date allows enough time.
Once ordered it can take anything from 3 months to 6 months for the dress to arrive with us depending on the designer, time of year and any changes needed.
Yes all alterations are a separate charge. All gowns will be ordered in standard sizes closest to the brides measurements taken at the time of order & will require alterations to achieve a near-perfect fit.
Yes, the Bell Centre backs onto a carpark, the parking machine only takes cash not cards but you can pay-by-phone! You can park there for up to 4 hours. There are also public toilets in the car park. We have a toilet but it is upstairs so not access friendly. Car Park address: St Mary's Way, Stand S3, Melton Mowbray LE13 1YE.
